No. We do need to have either a comprehensive assessment or a self referral form on file to be able to consider you for our program. All new clients must be accepted prior to scheduling an intake.

No. While we LOVE our fur babies too, we have two therapy dogs in house that this is their home. Unless your dog is a service dog WITH papers and certificate to show completion of training, they will be denied access to our facility.

Yes! We have designated smoking areas. We allow cigarettes and do smoke run 2x per week. Vapes are prohibited, however.

We try to read through referrals within 24 hours. If there is an emergent situation, please let us know and we will be happy to move it to the top of the list but it still takes time. Patience is something that is necessary in recovery.

No. Unfortunately we do not accept partners at our facility.
We have had clients in the past sneak in here with their partner. We will transfer one client to another facility so that you can focus on YOUR recovery while you are here. Each individual needs to focus on whats best for them. -
Yes! Connection and Community is a very important part of your recovery! After your initial 10 day period of no phone/ visit. You are allowed to sign up for a in person or zoom visit. Visitations are on the weekend unless otherwise planned with professionals.

No. At this level of care we do not permit you to leave the facility and come back without prior approval or a pass written by the LADC supervisor.

No. If there is ABSOLUTELY no other option, we will work with you on finding options. Cars MUST have valid insurance and PROOF of insurance. You must have a valid drivers license. Vehicles are subject to random searches to keep drugs/alcohol off the premises. You can not drive the vehicle while here. Keys would be turned into the HSTs. Access to vehicle would only be permitted with staff. We are NOT liable for any damage or theft from vehicle.
Kai Shin New Patient Registration
We currently outsource co-occurring mental health and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services to Kai-Shin. If you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms and wish to be seen sooner after admission, please complete the new patient registration form in advance. If not completed beforehand, a paper copy will be provided upon admission.
